Adams Elementary asked us to design a mural outside of their library that would compliment the “fairy garden” theme found within.

The mural was completed in collaboration with Love Costa Mesa Day 2025, with help from our awesome volunteer team.
The final design was approved by the Newport-Mesa Unified School District, and illustrates a playful take on a “pop-up” book inspired, “fairy garden” scene. The “story within the story” unfolds as the squirrel dives into a book in his magical front yard. The mural is meant to spark the kiddos imagination as they enter the library and get them excited about reading.
