Calvary Chapel Costa Mesa is a non-profit that consists of a church (with 25+ individual ministries), schools, conference centers, a book store and publisher.
As part of the internal creative team, I help support all of the various communication needs. The community is informed, and engaged, most frequently via: web, social media, email blasts, e-bulletin, screen graphics, and various print materials.

Easter at CCCM —

About
From dark to light, the story of the cross. Three icons to represent the three “acts” of the Easter story: crucifixion, resurrection, and the appearances/ascension. The gritty gradients contrast the simple iconography, while also representing the ever-changing sky throughout the unfolding three days.
Summer at CCCM —

About
The community at CCCM ranges from Baby Boomers, to literal babies. Also, there is a general affinity towards Southern California beach culture, with the campus being so close to many of them. In response to these two dynamics, our team created a direction for the summer event season. Our goal was to take inspiration from vintage travel posters, labels, ads etc., to achieve a balance of nostalgia and playfulness for CCCM’s diverse audience.
